FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, hydrostatic supports for light-weight, high-speed rotors.
SUBSTANCE: hydrostatic support has casing with bushing, input throttle, lubricant feeding and distributing system, and supporting pockets. Throttles provided with T-shaped openings are spring-loaded inside bushing and arranged in two rows. Each of said throttles is communicated with diametrically opposed radial supporting pocket of other row of throttles via lubricant feeding and distributing system so as to increase or decrease lubricant rate of feeding lubricant into respective pockets.
EFFECT: increased radial and angular rigidity, reduced effect of elastic and thermal deformations, technological and mounting misalignments, increased vibration resistance and enhanced reliability of support construction.
