SUBSTANCE: method involves cutting, laminating and stretching tissues at the level of tarso-orbital fascia without perforating it in zone adjacent to cicatricial edge in the vicinity of orbital eye muscle. Edges of the formed eyelids containing orbital eye muscle elements are sutured and conjunctiva levator portion is sutured on the upper eyelid. The formed wound surface is covered with free skin plastic repair.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in protecting cornea against drying and other kinds of complications.
