METHOD OF MECHANICAL-THERMAL TREATMENT OF OBJECTS FROM HYDROCARBON POLLUTIONS Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

Abstract RU 2248253 C1

FIELD: methods of cleaning of surfaces of objects from leftovers of hydrocarbon pollutions.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertinent to methods of cleaning of surfaces of objects from leftovers of hydrocarbon pollutions, such as petroleum, lubricants, greases and oils and also vegetable oils and animal fats and may find application in different industries, for example for washing transport and technological containers, component parts and units of mechanisms, ground and so on. The method includes three stages: the first stage of sampling of pollutions, determination of their nature and an amount, a choice of technological parameters of treatment; the second stage provides for a thermo-preparation of a washing medium, its delivery under pressure of 1.0-1.5 MPa with the help of washing installation to provide a mechanical cleanup of an object from surface pollutions and the following treatment of the cleaned object with a washing medium depending on pollutions within 5-30 minutes; and the third stage provides for recuperation of the washing medium by the phase separation into three phases with a consequent control of the contents of the components in the liquid phase and correction of their concentration in the automatic mode under the linear law up to the required values before its return into the cycle of treatment. In the capacity of washing medium they use a thermo-prepared up to temperature of 60-80°C hydrocarbon pollutions of the object, mix them with indifferent gases forming a washing mixture, and feed it under pressure onto a treated surface creating the pulsating up-and-down motions of the washing mixture in two parallel streams with the periodical alternating changes of directions of traffic in them. The reciprocal motion of the washing mixture at the stage of return is combined with the stage of recuperation, separating this mixture into three phases - a liquid, a gaseous and a solid, and creating pulsations of pressure in a stream at the stage of translational movement of the washing mixture.

EFFECT: the invention ensures good cleaning of surfaces of objects from leftovers of hydrocarbon pollutions.
