FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices facilitating starting of internal combustion engines. Proposed device for preheating of engine oil contains housing, spring-loaded piston arranged in housing, heater with heating elements, contacts, heat and electric insulation cover and electromagnetic valve connected to device control system. Heater is made in form of cover closing space of housing with piston and springs, being arranged in lower part of device. Electromagnetic valve is secured on heater branch pipe. Device is connected to engine lubrication system at place of mounting of oil pressure transmitter.
EFFECT: provision of effective and convenient in operation engine oil heater.
