DEVICE FOR PRESTARTING DELIVERY OF OIL INTO LUBRICATION SYSTEM OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: invention is aimed at provision of prestarting delivery of oil to sliding bearings of internal combustion engines to guarantee starting of engine at below zero temperatures at minimum consumption of energy and prevention of starting wears. The problem is solved by using device consisting of cylinder with three walls whose inner space accommodates piston with spring and electric contact position pickup. Vacuum is built for heat insulation between outer and middle walls, and in clearance between middle and inner walls filled with heat carrier, for instance, with octanohydrate of barium hydroxiden (Ba(OH)₂•8H₂O)) a spiral tube is fitted being connected with lubrication system through one of control valves. Inner space of cylinder is connected with lubrication system through other control valve. EFFECT: provision of prestarting delivery of oil to engine sliding bearings. 5 cl, 1 dwg
