METHOD FOR OBTAINING BIOLOGICALLY ACTIVE SUM OF TRITERPENE ACIDS Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with isolating the sum of triterpene acids out of fur's woody greens that possesses pesticide properties to be applied for increasing plant productivity. Reduced air-dried fur's woody greens of 10-18% moisture should be poured with 90%-isopropyl alcohol at the ratio of raw material - extracting agent being 1 : 3. Then the mixture should be treated with ultrasound at fluctuations frequency being 22-44 kHz at 80 C, not higher for 10-15 min. Extract obtained should be poured off, raw material should be poured with a new portion of extracting agent to repeat the process once more. Then extracts should be combined to be evaporated to obtain the target product as a dark-green-colored viscous mass. This innovation enables to obtain biologically active sum of triterpene acids due to more simplified technological method at higher output being 10.1-12.7%.
