FIELD: agriculture, in particular potato preparation before dispatch for storage.

SUBSTANCE: method includes potato treatment before dispatch for storage with immunostimulant in combination with Steinermena caprocaspae suspension in amount of 0.2-1 % in respect to suspension mass. Immunostimulant is obtained by sequential extraction of biomass of Mortierella sclerotiella micromycete with nonpolar solvent in above-critical state, water, alkali, water, acid, water, alkali, and water and combining the fist extract with solid residue.

EFFECT: insect pest control with improved effect without detrimental effect on potato immunological status, germinating, and organoleptic characteristics.
