FIELD: airship manufacture.
SUBSTANCE: proposed flying vehicle has outer skin made in form of elongated envelopes secured on load-bearing band and gondola. Outer skin embraces convex lattice-type skeletons forming primary structure of case; skeletons are made from longitudinal and transversal pneumatic members which are connected with compressed air source. Load-bearing band has through passage and ballast and fuel reservoirs. Mounted on gondola are cruise engines and landing gear. Gondola is suspended from rigid load-bearing keel beam by means of couplings of adjustable length. Rigid load-bearing keel beam is connected with load-bearing band and convex elastic upper envelope by means of flexible suspension made in form of longitudinally rigid members. Case is divided by internal envelope into compartment for bottles filled with lighter-than-air gas and compartment for hot exhaust gases. Control engines are located in swivel gondolas mounted on load-bearing band. Rectangular horizontal stabilizer is provided with control surfaces. Secured on horizontal stabilizer and aft portion of load-bearing band are main and auxiliary keels with main and auxiliary control surfaces.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
