FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed engine has housing 1 with ring working chamber 2 and swirl chambers 38, 40 made in partitions 9, 10. Rotor-piston 7 made of hard magnetic material is installed on input shaft 8. Rotor-piston has hub 30 with blades 28, 29 forming two working spaces 33, 34 and two delivery spaces 35, 36 together with partitions. Rotor-piston drive mechanism includes slider-crank mechanism. According to invention, housing 1 is made with diametrically opposite T-shaped slots 51, 52 accommodating rods 53, 54 made of electric steel with windings 55, 56 in contact with inner surface of C-shaped electric steel plate 57 enclosing the windings. Radial slots 43, 44 opening into swirl chambers 39, 40 are made in partitions. Central electrodes 45, 46 of spark plugs are secured in partitions 9, 10 and are brought into swirl chambers 39, 40.
EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities, increased engine efficiency and improved reliability of engine in operation.
