FIELD: oil-and-gas producing and oil-and-gas refining industries.

SUBSTANCE: proposed plug-type cock has body with inlet and outlet passages and cylindrical plug. Inlet and outlet passages of body have cylindrical recesses with spacer bushes which are made in form of truncated cylinders. Bevel planes of these cylinders are engageable with respective bevel planes of inserts provided with sealing members at radial motion of adjusting screws and spacer bushes. Adjusting screws and spacer bushes are interconnected through trapezoidal slots and trapezoidal projections made in spacer bushes. Trapezoidal projections are made at ends of adjusting screws mounted in cock body.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of regulation of tightness.
