HOOK SETTER FOR TROLLING Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: amateur and sports fishing.

SUBSTANCE: proposed hook setter for fishing by trolling consists of two double hooks whose rod is aligned with extending spring-loaded levers, and guide. Hooks are secured on levers in two tiers so that body of hook setter at alerting turns into streamlined contour of rotating lure, spikes of outer hooks in this case are pointed opposite to side of movement of released levers, and spikes of inner hooks are arranged along axis of symmetry to their base, and with one hook brought behind the other, hold end of guide, thus preventing operation of hook setter. Guide, in section of levers can be made in form of detachable needle providing convenience of setting and replacing of bait when fishing by trolling.

EFFECT: prevention of snagging when trolling bait and provision of automatic hook setting at biting and reliable holding of fish.
