FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has source of gas good for breathing with the first overpressure level, respiratory user mask connected to the gas source and having expiration valve and unit for controlling required overpressure level to support the second overpressure level being lower than the first one. The device has gas discharge rate control unit for regulating discharge of gas coming from the gas source to the facemask. The unit has the first operation position in which gas overpressure supplied to the unit for controlling overpressure level is restricted, and the second operation position in which gas overpressure supplied to the unit for controlling overpressure level is not essentially restricted. The control unit is tuned so that its initial position is the first operation position. The second overpressure level being reached in the mask, the control unit comes to the second operation position. Helmet mask or facemask are connectable to gas source and the masks are put on under restricted gas discharge rate coming into mask via reducer unit.
EFFECT: minimized gas losses.
