FIELD: machine engineering, namely forming interchangeable internal and outer threads.
SUBSTANCE: method of threading rotating part having stop or anvil by means of cutter during several passes comprises steps of imparting to cutter necessary motions due to providing lengthwise movement of rest with cutter at feed equal to pitch of thread; withdrawing cutter from worked surface at reverse stroke; realizing cross feed of slide by cutting depth; then trimming stop or anvil. In order to enhance accuracy of threaded joint by angle, worked part is made with allowance exceeding diameter of thread along outer or internal cylindrical surface. Reference marks are applied onto part in selected coordinate system. Part is placed in attachment of screw-cutting lathe in desired position relative to coordinate system of lathe, it is fastened, adjusted and lathe is turned on. Then thread is cut on allowance according to predetermined program. Lathe is arrested and in measuring plane passing through reference marks dimension from stop until controlled turn of thread is measured and it is compared with adjustment size. According to measurement results position of cutter is corrected. Then lathe is turned on and thread is again cut on allowance according to predetermined program. Lathe is arrested and once more dimension from stop until controlled turn of thread is measured in measuring plane; result is compared with adjustment size and position of cutter is corrected on base of measurement result. Lathe is turned on again for finally cutting complete profile of thread. Lathe is arrested and readjusted and it is turned on again. Remaining allowance is cut off until forming desired contour of outer or internal thread and then allowance on stop or anvil is trimmed according to finish size in order to provide interchangeability at screwing with reciprocal parts at guaranteed tightness and desired accuracy by angle. Allowance value for trimming stop is selected minimum one.
EFFECT: improved accuracy of threaded joint by angle of screwing.
