FIELD: shaving devices.
SUBSTANCE: shaver cartridge includes blade and part engaging with skin of user and arranged near blade. Said part includes cover strip promoting shaving process; it is made of rigid polymeric material and contains 55 - 90 mass % of polyethylene oxide with molecular mass 100 000 - 8 000 000 daltons, 5 -40 mass % of water-insoluble polymer such as polysterene, copolymer of butadiene and sterene and (or) their mixture; 0.5 - 50.0 mass % of polycaprolactam. Such cover strip provides larger amount of matter promoting shaving at shaving process, it features improved structural integrity and lowered swelling degree.
EFFECT: improved design, enhanced properties of cover strip.
