DIESEL LOCOMOTIVE BOGIE Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: railway transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lubricators of flanges of diesel locomotive wheelsets. Proposed bogie of diesel locomotive consists of frame 1 with brackets 2 rigidly secured on frame and tie-rods 3 installed for movement. Tie-rods are connected by extension springs 4 and they carry movably installed cylindrical reservoirs 6 with lubricant. Toothed wheels rigidly secured on reservoirs interact with toothed racks 11 fixed on said brackets. Reservoirs with lubricant have holes 8 over their length with droppers providing getting of lubricant onto surface of wheel flanges, at least one hole for each wheel.

EFFECT: increased service life of flanges of bogie wheelsets.
