FIELD: railway transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for lubricating flanges of diesel locomotive bogie wheelsets when negotiating curved sections of track. Proposed section of diesel locomotive contains two three-axle bogies 2. One of middle wheelsets of bogies is provided with tyres 5 whose flanges 6 are provided with projections and cavities over outer generating surface forming wavy surface 7. Pair of cylinders 8 is rigidly secured on frame of body 1 in vertical plane symmetrically relative to longitudinal axis. Said pair of cylinders contains, each, two pistons and lubricant in between. One of cylinders is rodless, and other is connected by its rod with curvilinear holder 13 spring-loaded relative to body frame. Surface of holder pointed to flange of tire is identical to tire surface, holder being suspended so that tire flange comes in contact with holder at angle turning. Each cylinder is furnished with pairs of pipelines with check valves. Ends of pipelines adjoin flanges of tyres of extreme wheelsets of bogie.

EFFECT: increased service life of wheel flanges.
