FIELD: electrical communications; computerized crosspoint switching devices for transmission channels.

SUBSTANCE: proposed device has switching unit, input number entrance unit, input number display, and output number display; output of input number entrance unit is connected to input of input number display; newly introduced in device are service signal generator, service signal switching unit, adders, service signal separation units, and encoder; output of service signal generator is connected to data input of service signal switching unit whose control input is connected to output of input number entrance unit; each output of service signal switching unit is connected to second input of respective adder whose first input is connected to that of respective circuit being handled; outputs of adders are connected to inputs of respective connecting points of switching unit; outputs of these points are connected to inputs of respective service signal separating units; first outputs of the latter are, essentially, outputs of respective circuits being handled and second outputs are connected to respective inputs of encoder whose output is connected to input of output number display.

EFFECT: provision for direct monitoring of connections in switching system.
