SUBSTANCE: invention relates to telecommunication and control systems and specifically to devices for cross switching channels and subscriber lines, and can be used during dynamic control of a communication network structure. The automated cross digital and analogue channels, besides a control device, control panel and a connecting field unit, also have N connecting field units, each designed for cross switching channels or subscriber lines of a defined type, and assembly units on the number of types of switched channels, connected to each other and to the rest of the components accordingly. The connecting field units and assembly units are made in form of standard components which are interchangeable on fitting dimensions, which enables for their different combinations in a mounting frame.

EFFECT: broader functional capabilities of the automated cross switching device, which lie in possibility of cross switching different-type channels and subscriber lines using the said device.
