FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, flax harvesting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: drum has housing with disks and retractable spring-loaded fingers with retraction mechanism. Each of spring-loaded fingers is composed of curved crescent-like working part and carrier, which are rigidly connected into figure, said carrier being located within housing. Carrier is provided with sleeve fixed at its other end and is pivotally connected through sleeve to housing with disks. Finger retraction mechanism allows carrier to be rotated around pivot joint in the process of overcoming of spring force due to action of soil upon spring working part. Picking-up drum facilitates complete picking-up of stalk mass.
EFFECT: increased efficiency in picking-up of stalk mass and reduced damage to stalks.
