FIELD: bridge crossing facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to bridge laying tank chassis and it can be used for laying two-track bridgework over obstacles both for military purposes and at emergency situations in time of peace. According to invention, habitable compartment of tank is furnished with systems of protection and life support of modern tank with possibility of access to power units and seats of engine compartment through sliding partition and it is provided with filtering and ventilation plant whose air intake device is made in form of vertical air intake section. For this purpose extensible hollow support of antenna is used secured on body roof in inter-track space of bridge layer. Commander's seat is secured on bottom of habitable compartment with provision of springing of seat in operation. Inter-track bulldozer blade of equipment for self-entrenching, together with slewing frame of bridge laying mechanism, form with lower nose sheet of chassis, a space used to increase dissipation of cumulative jet in case of tank hitting in combat. Units of torsion suspensions of first and second pairs of track rollers are furnished with buffers. Habitable compartment can be furnished with antiradiation material panels spaced over inner surface of compartment.
EFFECT: improved service characteristics of bridge layer.
