FIELD: mechanical engineering; erection of bridge crossings over obstacles on difficult-to-cross terrains and in natural calamity areas. SUBSTANCE: bridge layer has laying mechanism with device for joining hydroelectric systems of bridge layer with hydroelectric system of bridge. Device has bridge hydroelectric butt joining units installed in each track of bridge and bridge layer hydroelectric butt joining units installed on bridge laying mechanism. Butt joining hydroelectric elements of butt joining hydraulic units with shutoff valves are hinge-mounted in butt joining units with provision of their holding from displacement by spring members. Novelty is that housing of system butt joining unit is secured at definite distance between forked grips of coupling frame, and springs of ball supports of hydraulic valves and electric connectors are made conical, electric connectors being furnished with relative orientation devices. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of operation of bridge systems and bridge layer as a whole. 3 dwg
