METHOD OF QUALITY INSPECTION OF PRODUCTION OF CONSTRUCTIONS MADE FROM COMPOSITE MATERIALS Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

Abstract RU 2251675 C1

FIELD: measurement technology; quality inspection.

SUBSTANCE: test constructions are selected from lot of items made of composite material and are subject to strengthening test at working temperatures till the constructions destroy. Loads, temperature and deformation are measured and standard strength parameters are set for the whole lot of produced constructions. Before testing the heat resistant temperature-sensitive resistors are glued to inner and outer sides of tested and controlled construction at regular cross-sections. Control constructions are subject to heating 2-3 times avoiding temperature drops till achieving temperature to exceed working temperature by 30-50C; after heating the constructions are cooled down. Temperature characteristics of temperature-sensitive resistors which were glued to control constructions are measured as well as their recurrence period while heating and cooling down processes. Control constructions are tested for strength till they are destroyed and achieved strength characteristics of control constructions as well as temperature characteristics of temperature-sensitive resistors are assumed as standard ones. Allowable values of limit deviations of temperature characteristics of temperature-sensitive resistors are specified for the whole lot of constructions and samples are subject to heating 2-3 times till achieving temperature to prevail the working temperature by 30-50C and after that any individual construction is subject to cooling down. Temperature characteristics of temperature-sensitive resistors are measured for any tested constructions and compared with standard temperature characteristics fro control samples. Production quality and serviceability of any individual construction of the lot are judged from value of deviation of temperature characteristics.

EFFECT: improved quality of non-destructing control of materials; reduced labor input; reduced costs.
