FIELD: measurement technology, specifically, means measuring deformation of structures of aircraft tested for strength. SUBSTANCE: device include restoring backing, lead-out wires, attachment units and mounting frame. Restoring backing is made of two layers of current-conducting polymer composite material with high specific resistance, sensitivity to deformation and coefficient of thermal expansion close to that of material of tested structure. It is fabricated in the form of double-support arch with unit for attachment to structure. Outer and inner layers of restoring backing are electrically insulated one from another and from attachment unit by means of dielectric spacer, ends of layers are metallized in zones of attachment of lead-out wires. Layers are electrically connected in accord with circuit of measurement bridge and attachment units are positioned in separable mounting frame. EFFECT: increased accuracy and enlarged range of measurement of deformations, widened range of working temperatures, reduced measurement error caused by effect of electromagnetic interference, diminished manufacturing cost. 1 cl, 4 dwg
