Novelty is that phosphor used for the purpose is, essentially, europium activated bivalent optosilicate of alkali-earth metal of following composition: (2-x-y)SrO · x(Bau, Cav)O · (1-a-b-c-d)SiO2 ·aP2O5bAl2O3cB2O3dGeO2 : yEu2+ and/or (2-x-y)BaO · x(Sru, Cav)O · (1-a-b-c-d)SiO2 ·aP2O5bAl2O3cB2O3dGeO2 : yEu2+.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency, enlarged luminance temperature control range.
