SUBSTANCE: proposed handle designed for lead batteries weighing 20 to 70 kg has flexible and rigid components. Rigid component has four through holes of which two ones are insulated and two other stepped holes have their upper part in the form of truncated cone. Flexible component (cord) is secured due to tight fit of cord ends in stepped holes of rigid component. Slot is provided between through and stepped fixing holes, its length amounting to 1.2 - 2.5 of cord plastic tip height.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of handle for heavy batteries.
