FIELD: electrical engineering; storage battery manufacture. SUBSTANCE: carrier has U-shaped grip with cylindrical cams and segments; lid has blind holes and slots on its edges; grip made of flexible material is free to bend out so that its caps enter blind holes on lid and its segments enter lid slots when battery is lifted thereby ensuring reliable fixation of the latter with turn through 180 C for carrying it or lifting in horizontal or vertical position; when in service, grip assumes horizontal position on lid. EFFECT: facilitated battery assembly on process lines; provision for reusing carrier grip in repairs. 1 dwg
