FIELD: electrical engineering, manufacture of storage batteries. SUBSTANCE: invention is aimed at design of cover containing no metal fittings, at simplification of assembly of storage batteries by usage of different polar terminals and at use of cover for second time during repair of storage battery. In compliance with invention cover of storage battery has rigid plastic frame with sides and holes to accommodate terminals. Recess with through hole and sides composed of two parts, upper and lower, are made near one butt of cover. Lower part of side is displaced with reference to upper part and is used to fix units of electrodes. EFFECT: simplified assembly of storage batteries. 2 dwg
