FIELD: VACUUM CLE4ANERS.

SUBSTANCE: filter unit can be used in dust catching device of cyclone-type vacuum cleaner for filtering dust containing in airflow being released from release channel of dust catcher. Filter unit has rotating filter mounted opposite to release channel. Rotating filter is provided with inlet mesh made on outer peripheral surface and outlet hole communicating with release channel. Filter is also provided with rod, which is disposed at axial direction inside dust collection container and is driven into action. One end of rod is connected with rotating filter and the other end passes through dust collecting container and goes out to be connected with control button to provide rotation of rod together with rotating filter as integral unit. Joint between end of rod and rotating filter is made by means of many passive connecting protrusions going out at radial direction at lower surface of rotating filter and many active connecting protrusion at the end of rod driven into action.

EFFECT: reduced cost of manufacture; simplified design; easier way of mounting and dismounting.
