FIELD: IR technology.
SUBSTANCE: polar coordinates finder has two-channel system, two-dimensional array photoreceivers, signal electronic processing unit, measurement results digital indication unit and power supply unit. Two pairs of objectives are fixed inside single case. Any pair of objectives has common optical axis. Optical axes of pairs of objectives are spaced apart for basic distance and brought in parallel to each other. One of objectives of any pair works in visual and near IR spectral range and the second objective works in middle IR spectral range. Mirrors are disposed behind objectives at angle to optical axis. Mirrors transmit visual and near IR radiation and reflect radiation of medium IR-range. Two-dimensional array photoreceivers are located behind mirrors at focal plane of any objective. Finder provides quick setting-up procedure, maximal capability of detection and direction finding of shot flash; simplified procedure of service.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of operation.
