FIELD: generation of roentgen and gamma rays; conversion of cosmic roentgen rays into electric current.
SUBSTANCE: proposed generator that can be designed for producing X-rays and gamma-rays which enables its use for building stations in high mountains or satellites on earth-orbit has two sections of which one is adjusted in optical range of monochromatic directed super-radiation and other section, in acoustic range with unidirectional radiation along axis on same active medium. Structural integration of components in gas-discharge chamber and control of mode of operation of gate electrodes and cathodes enable generation of directed radiation in each section, radiation power of each section being regulated in gas-discharge chamber.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of energy conversion.
