FIELD: fire fighting, particularly stationary or movable automatic or semi-automatic fire-extinguishing apparatuses.
SUBSTANCE: nitrogen fire-extinguishing apparatus has check valve installed at inlet of pipeline connected to isothermal tank, gas relief means having electrically operated valve connected to control panel and sleeve. Overpressure valve is mounted on distribution manifold. Discharge nozzles are provided with diaphragms. Liquid nitrogen is fed by displacing thereof with the use of pressurizing system or by means of immersed pump.
EFFECT: reduced time of fire-extinguishing substance delivery into room to be protected, increased efficiency of indifferent gas usage in fire-extinguishing plants, possibility to create atmosphere not sustaining combustion in waiting regime, reduced material consumption, extended capabilities, increased time of material storage due to microorganism growth suppression by displacing air with low-temperature nitrogen, increased reliability, improved transparency of room atmosphere and possibility to remove combustion products.
