FIELD: the invention refers to sorting postal correspondence in one or more establishments of the postal operator for distribution of correspondence to addresses.
SUBSTANCE: for error recovery of addressing on postal objects in the process of sorting, distribution to addresses and delivery carried out by a postal operator with postal objects which are passed to the postal operator by a sender of postal objects which is the client of the postal operator corresponding identification numbers of postal objects are created for postal objects which must be processed with the help of sorting processor distribution to addresses and delivery. At that these identification numbers are marked on corresponding postal objects in machine-readable form and recorded in an electronic card index in accordance with data corresponding to the postal addressees of postal objects. These identification numbers of postal objects or “ clients' extended code” are created by a sender of postal objects. The sender marks them on postal objects before passing them to the postal operator. The card index which has identification numbers of postal objects in accordance with data corresponding to postal addresses. is also prepared by a sender of postal objects and is passed by a sender to the postal operator.
EFFECT: the invention allows by more simple manner to make error recovery of addressing on definite objects of postal correspondence which is passed in great quantities by a sender to a postal sorting establishment.
