FIELD: post office equipment. SUBSTANCE: payment costs for mailed items are entered into memory unit by post office operator by means of processor-operated system. Any user may use entered mailing costs at their own equipment using compatible processor-operated system. Said processor-operated system provides automatic calculation of required payment costs for each mailed item using set of parameters pertaining to respective post item. When word processing software is used, additional information, such as address data, can be also printed on envelope, label, post card, letter, and so on, as well as postmark for registration of payment cost.
