FIELD: machine engineering, manufacture of fastening and locking articles by piercing deep small-diameter holes in parts of viscous alloys.
SUBSTANCE: attachment includes tool with stem fastened by means of screw in spindle with bearing assemblies. Axis of spindle together with housing is inclined relative to axis of stem of holder designed for mounting in tail spindle of tail stock of lathe. In order to improve operational reliability, dimension accuracy and quality of worked surface end of holder is inclined by angle equal to said inclination angle of axis of housing relative to axis of stem of holder. Stem of tool has groove for engaging with screw at fastening it. Bearing assemblies of spindle may be roller type thrust bearing assemblies. Stem of holder may be in the form of Morse cone.
EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability, improved dimension accuracy and quality of worked surface.
