FIELD: mechanical engineering; compressors.
SUBSTANCE: proposed compressor impeller with automatically deflectable turning blades is designed to provide stable operation of compressor under all operating conditions to improve reliability of compressor. Impeller contains opposite pairs of flyweights 11 connected with disk 2 featuring freedom of proportional radial displacement under action of centrifugal forces overcoming counteraction of spring 12 coupled with disk 2. Flyweights 11 in their motion set into operation connecting rods 13 hinge-coupled with ring 14 rotating the ring concentrically relative to longitudinal axis of disk 2. In its turn, tie-rod 15 connected with ring 14, at turning of ring 14 relative to disk 2 turn through cranks 5 working blades 4 relative to their longitudinal axes, automatically forming geometry of compressor passage area corresponding to current value of rotor speed.
EFFECT: provision of stable operation of compressor under all operating conditions, improved reliability.
