FIELD: pipeline transport.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises making a pipe which comprises outer load-carrying pipe and inner pipe welded to it, making two openings in the outer pipe, and connecting branch pipes to them. One branch pipe is used for setting the instrument for measuring pressure. The other branch pipe is connected with a device for evacuating the fluid between the pipes. The variations of the readings of the instrument indicate pressure-tightness of pipes. The air is evacuated from the interpipe space with the use of a compressor. The space between the pipes is filled with a gas under pressure after the end of testing. The openings are hermetically sealed.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
