FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves recording spontaneous patient speech flow, selecting speech segments by applying voice no-voice principle, determining their duration, variation, standard deviation and estimating effectiveness or no effectiveness in carrying out correction. The spontaneous patient speech is recorded at least three times at the beginning of treatment course, in the middle and at the end. Hausdorff dimension of normalized vocal segment duration set is determined each time. Adjustment efficiency is estimated in the middle of the course. When being inefficient, Hausdorff dimension dynamics is determined during the first half of the course and then adequate adjustment method is selected for the second half of the course by applying the following rule. Hausdorff dimension growing, patient attention is concentrated on his speech. Hausdorff dimension falling, patient attention is drawn away from his own speech.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of speech correction.
