FIELD: self-contained breathing apparatus.
SUBSTANCE: proposed self-contained breathing apparatus includes regenerative cartridge with regenerative agent, mask with inhalation and exhalation valves, breathing bag and breathing mixture volume control unit. Regenerative cartridge is made in form of two coaxial cylinders brought into communication; inner cylinder is filled with regenerative agent in form of briquette of alkali metal superoxide or product on its base at density exceeding 1.70 g/cm3 and outer cylinder is filled with water. Breathing mixture volume control system includes smaller oxygen bag located in breathing bag and connected with inner cylinder.
EFFECT: reduction of mass of apparatus and product; ease of recharging.
