FIELD: material handling facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tower cranes with slewing platform and lifting boom. Proposed tower crane includes boom wire rope guy whose wire rope is reeved in head sheaves, boom lifting pulley block with fixed and movable casings with sheaves coupled with boom guy, and equalizing sheave in which boom guy wire rope is reeved. Sheaves of fixed casing of boom lifting pulley block are secured on strut. Boom guy sheaves are mounted on movable casing of boom lifting pulley block, thus forming reverse action pulley block. Equalizing sheave is secured on tower head, and detachable lock coupled with movable and fixed casings is installed in between. Lock is made of rigid hinge-connected links forming tie-rods whose ends are connected with movable and fixed casings, respectively.
EFFECT: simplified design, improved reliability of crane.
