FIELD: engine manufacturing; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed diaphragm carburetor contains main air channel housing with choke and throttle valves, fuel channels, pump diaphragm, intake manifold with fuel filter and pump damper, fuel regulator chamber, fuel valve and fuel regulator diaphragm. Idling emulsion chamber is found in gas chamber of fuel pump being separated from the latter by stopper.
EFFECT: increased capacity of fuel pump at low pressure in gas chamber when starting from cold, provision of stable delivery of fuel when starting from cold at low ambient temperatures.
