FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention makes it possible to create unified row of carburetors with fuel pump for engines, power rating from 0.7 kW to 6.6 kW, increase service life and reliability of main control member (fuel valve) and carburetor as a whole, improve pickup of engines and their operation at transient conditions, reduce fuel consumption at full-throttle and content of impurities in exhaust gases, provide stable operation of engines at any position in space, simplify design of carburetors and unify main components, improve starting of engine from cold. Diaphragm carburetor for internal combustion engine has main air horn with fitted-in starting (choke) and throttle valves, main air venture, fuel feed regulator made in form of diaphragm forming with body fuel chamber connected with fuel feed channel provided with control member and lever installed at outlet, main metering system with return valve and idling system communicating with fuel chamber of fuel regulator through fuel pipelines. Carburetor is furnished with built-in fuel pump, two atomizers arranged in venture of main air horn, jets in upper body which is secured to end face of body by three screws and covers fuel spaces between which damping diaphragm with gasket is installed, forming dampers of full-throttle and idling systems to kill wave and inertia oscillations of fuel and fuel emulsion.
EFFECT: provision of family of carburetors of minimum overall dimensions.
