FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: donor's iridic transplant should be applied upon strengthening basis out of biological material. For creating the above-mentioned strengthening basis donor's iris should be impregnated in 1-3%-collagen solution, modified 0.1-0.5% glutaric aldehyde for 1-2 h. One should dry the obtained transplant in its straightened out form at room temperature till the development of elastic film. One should level transplant's edge and form the pupil. Then one should apply the transplant into defect's area to be fixed to coloboma edges and to scleral labium.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
