FIELD: ultrasonic cavitation disintegration of liquid media; food-processing, chemical, pharmaceutical and perfume industries.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method may be also used for treatment of milk for homogenization, decontamination and enrichment due to dispersion of protein introduced in it. Liquid medium is passed through cavitation reactor at preset rate. Standing acoustic wave is formed in reactor for exciting cavitation. In one of planes parallel to oscillatory shifts of particles of liquid medium in acoustic wave flow is limited by flat diaphragm. Density of average (in time) potential cavitation energy inside section bounding the flow is no less than its average magnitude in absence of diaphragm.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of cavitation treatment.
