FIELD: ultra-sonic cavitation disintegration of liquid media: destruction, separation, dividing of any substances in form of suspended phases, as well as dissociation of molecules of media; food-processing, pharmaceutical and perfume industries. SUBSTANCE: subject to cavitation treatment may be liquid media in form of suspensions, emulsions, colloid or true solutions, as well as water and other liquids. Liquid medium to be treated is passed at preset rate through cavitation reactor, acoustic power is scattered at a preset average volume density which causes cavitation in form of stationary cavitation region. Volume density of potential energy of cavitation is distributed over volume of reactor at root-mean-square deviation from average magnitude not exceeding 0.862 of this average magnitude. Reactor is made in form of chamber filled with liquid having reflecting wall and acoustic wave radiator. Sizes of reactor are selected according to definite formula. EFFECT: enhanced dispersivity, homogeneity at intensification of chemical reactions, synthesis of new compounds, bacteriolysis, bacteristasis; enhanced chemical activity; hydration activity and dissociating ability of water. 3 cl, 5 dwg
