FIELD: radio communications.

SUBSTANCE: during tracking of target in each location period to input of receiver a probing signal is sent with broadband complicated frequency modulation and echo-signal, and after conversion to intermediate frequency in total and difference channels limiting is performed as well as optimal processing and detecting of probing and echo-signal, with forming of short video-pulses, while from video-pulses, received after detection of probing signal, control command is formed for unlocking video-route of receiver, threshold of detection of echo-signal and if this threshold is exceeded by detected pulses of echo-signal selection strobe for echo-signal is formed as well as signals receipt forbidding command until finishing of location period. In a device meant for realization of method, transmitter has generator of probing signals with broadband complicated frequency modulation, and receiver in total and difference channels has circuits for optimal processing and detection of probing and echo-signals, which after detecting are sent to input of selector, containing generator and commutator of detection threshold, threshold circuit for detection of echo-signals, synchronization circuit, selection strobe generator, strobe valves for separating echo-signals of total and difference channels.

EFFECT: higher interference resistance.
