FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering, more specifically to radar, and can be used for determining slant range using radio engineering methods, for example to aerologic radio sounders (ARS), and can also be used for measuring angular coordinates of aerologic radio sounders and for range tracking aerologic radio sounders. The technical outcome is achieved due to that, monopulse radar is built on concepts of coherent-pulse processing of a response signal from superregenerative transceivers-transponders, optimum digital signal processing and digital control methods. This increases accuracy of measuring angular coordinates of a radio sounder by 1.5-2 times.
EFFECT: more accurate measurement of angular coordinates of a radio sounder, reduced power of request signal transmitter, increased noise-immunity of the system and increased emission security of ground radar.
