FIELD: chemical industry; plastics materials treatment.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of plastics treatment, in particular, to production of the ribbed shells of negative curvature out of different thermoplastic materials. The method provides, that two sheets of a thermoplastic material ( an orientated and a non-oriented) are placed on a curved framework, heat up to the temperature of a high-elasticity state of both sheets and then cool them. As a result both shells obtain the negative curvature. At that on the lower shell out of non-oriented thermoplastics ribs are formed due to excess of the material.
EFFECT: the invention ensures simplification of production of the ribbed shells of negative curvature.
