FIELD: textile, pulp-and-paper, printing and other industries.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device contains inlet and outlet pulse pickups of material length connected by outputs with material relative deformation meter. Device is furnished also with material tension pickup connected by output to one of inputs of unit calculating product of modulus of elasticity by area of cross section of material whose other input is connected to output of unit calculating relative deformation of material. Output of unit calculating product of modulus of elasticity by cross-section area is connected with one of inputs of unit of unit calculating preset tension, second input of which is connected with output of material relative deformation setter. Output of unit determining preset tension of material and output of tension pickup are connected with inputs of comparator element. Output of comparator element is connected to input of unit forming control action, whose output is connected with reversible actuator coupled with tensioner.
EFFECT: possibility of adjusting tension without exceeding relative deformation at transportation of materials differing in moduli of elasticity.
