FIELD: polymers.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to propylene polymer-base compositions eliciting improved shock-resistance and excellent optical properties that can be used for making bottles and containers. The composition comprises from 70 to 90 wt.-% of statistic copolymer of propylene with ethylene including from 1 to 6 wt.-% of ethylene and having the content of xylene-insoluble fraction 93 wt.-%, not less, and from 10 to 30 wt.-% of copolymer of propylene with ethylene containing from 8 to 18 wt.-% of ethylene. The ratio (B)/C² _B containing percent by mass (B) as measured for the total mass content of (A) and (B) to the mass percent content of ethylene (C² _B) as measured for the total mass content (B) is 2.5 or less. Prepared compositions elicit optimal balance of such indices as transmittance, rigidity and shock-resistance being even at low temperatures.
