FIELD: polymer materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention, in particular, relates to articles made from disclosed composition, such as toys, kitchen ware, and food containers. Composition contains (i) from 55 to less than 70% crystalline propylene homopolymer or copolymer containing up to 15% ethylene and/or C₄-C₁₀-α-oledin(s) characterized by melt flow rate 15 to 80 g/10 min, as measured at 230°C under loading 2,16 kg, and (ii) 30 to 45% copolymer of ethylene with one or several C₄-C₁₀-α-oledin(s) including notably 15-40% C₄-C₁₀-α-oledin(s). Composition shows melt flow rate equal to or higher than 15 g/10 min, as measured at 230°C under loading 2,16 kg, total ethylene content 20% or more, total content of C₄-C₁₀-α-oledin(s) 6% or more, ratio of the two latter contents equal or higher than 2,3, respectively, content of combined fraction soluble in xylene at room temperature equal or higher than 18%, and value of intrinsic viscosity of this fraction 1.7 dL/g or less. Composition is prepared in two consecutive steps, wherein above-mentioned components are obtained in different steps, the first one being carried out with catalyst. Resulting composition is then subjected to injection molding to produce above indicated articles.

EFFECT: increased flowability, shock resistance, and transparency of composition.
